The FX80 Supervisory Controller is a web-based supervisory-class controller in the Facility Explorer® product family. The FX80 controller manages networks of field controllers using open communication protocols, such as BACnet®, LonWorks®, and N2 protocols. The FX80 controller supports a full set of building automation features, such as scheduling, alarming, historical data collection and management, data sharing, energy management, totalization, customized control routines, tagging, templates, search, and hierarchies, which are specifically designed for commercial facilities. Each FX80 controller includes a graphical system user interface with an HTML5 web profile, a configuration tool that you can access with the web browser, and robust security. Remote access is easily achieved using a wired or wireless connection from the Internet or intranet. Multiple users can concurrently connect to the FX80 controller. You can manage security and presentation preferences through user profiles, login IDs, and passwords. The FX80 Supervisory Controller is a compact DIN rail mountable controller with the capability for remote external input and output points.
The FX-PC products are programmable controllers that can be switched between BACnet MS/ TP and N2 Communications protocols. When they are used as BACnet MS/TP devices, they are a BACnet Application Specific Controller (B-ASC) with integral MS/TP communications. In N2 mode, they can be used to modernize sites with legacy Johnson Controls controllers. These controllers run pre-engineered and user-programmed applications and provide the inputs and outputs required to monitor and control a wide variety of HVAC equipment. A full range of FX-PCG models combined with the FX-PCX model can be applied to a wide variety of building applications ranging from simple fan coil or heat pump control to advanced central plant management. All FX-PCG Series Controllers configured for BACnet support wireless communications using the FX-ZFR or FX-ZFR Pro System accessories.
Network Room Modules (NRMs) are electronic, wall-mountable temperature sensors designed to work directly with Facility Explorer field controllers. All NRM models monitor room or space temperature. In addition, you can order NRMs with a backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) to display the room temperature and local setpoint. Graphical display symbols can indicate fan speed selection and the need for maintenance. Optional operating controls include a dial to locally adjust the space temperature setpoint, a push button to manually override the fan speed, and a push button to select Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) units of measure.
